A fantastical story an old tree, a tree full of adventure, located in the middle of courtyard surrounded by multi-storied apartments. The children of the neighborhood climb the tiers of the tree and see the neighborhood and have some unexpected adventures in floating gardens.
Maria Terlikowska (1920-1990) was a Polish author of children's books as well as a journalist, screenwriter and radio dramatist. Illustrations by the Polish artist Teresa Wilbik (b. 1938).
