Cruise book for USS Los Angeles (CA-135), a Baltimore-class heavy cruiser, from June 1958 to July 1959, as the Flagship of Commander, Cruiser Division Five, U.S. Seventh Fleet. The cruise departed from Portland and had ports in San Francisco, Pearl Harbor, Taiwan (Formosa & Pescadores), the Philippines, Japan, Okinawa, and returned to Long Beach by way of Hawaii. In the spring of 1959 she set out again with ports at Pearl Harbor, Midway, Guam, Taiwan, Japan, Hong Hong, and returned again to Long Beach by way of Pearl Harbor.
