Poetry by the Oregon pioneer Henry H. Woodward (1826-1915). Woodward came to Oregon in 1850 as part of the Umpqua Company. A native of England, he lived for the next sixty-five years in Coos and Douglas counties, taking up permanent residence in Roseburg by 1870 and worked as a book dealer.
