A 1972 reprint of the 1906 edition that was published by the Historical Atlas Publishing Company. This edition omits the non-relevant general world map section of the 1906 edition.

Includes property ownership plat maps (with owners' names and the number of acres) for the following townships: Arthur, Eramosa, Erin, Guelph (not including the city blocks), Maryborough, Minto, Nichols, Peel, Pilkington, Puslinch, West Garafraxa, and West Luther.

Also featured are plat maps of the villages and towns of Aboyne, Arthur, Clifford, Drayton, Elora, Fergus, Glenn Allan, Harriston, Hillsburg, Moorefield, Mount Forest, Palmerston, Rockwood, Salem, and a few others, plus the city of Guelph.

Includes about 60 pages of biographies of notable men of the county, providing more than 140 portraits. Ten pages with the history of the city of Guelph and of each of the county's townships, and that give some general narrative about the county's development and its features.
