This booklet gives a detailed description of AEG's newest factory, built in 1920 and located on the River Spree in the Oberschoneweide part of Berlin. Its production included transformers, high-voltage equipment and switchboards. AEG, at the time, was Germany's largest electrical manufacturing concern. The booklet notes advancements in the process of manufacturing transformers and describes the stages of manufacture and laboratory work. It also provides what is essentially a tour of the factory and the various rooms in which components are produced and tested, and also gives an idea of scale and the physical character of the factory.
