The account of Are Waerland (1876-1955), documenting his thirty-years search for health and presenting both his views on various health subjects and his particular techniques and methods for restoring and maintaining wellness (including the importance of sleeping outside). This instructive volume is written in an entertaining fashion and is full of anecdotes and personal experiences.
Preface by Sir William Arbuthnot Lane (1856-1943), Surgeon at Guy's Hospital, London, 1877-1883, 1888-1920; and founder and President of the New Health Society. Introduction by James Ellis Barker (1870-1948), an author, journalist, homeopath and naturopath who was influenced by the research of Arbuthnot Lane.
