An attractive and scarce volume, which features two comedic dramas by the obscure American dramatist and poet, Laughton Osborn (1809-1878). The Silver Head is dated 1845 and The Double Deceit 1856. Osborn was a native and lifelong resident of New York City. An alumnus of Columbia College ('27), he lived as a bachelor recluse, devoted to his literary work, producing more than a dozen published volumes.
