Includes a prologue by Ahumada, forewords by and Antonio Bolivar and the Director of the reserve, Alejandra Rodriguez Gomez, as well as essays on Metztitlan Canyon and its history, the Convent of the Three Kings, the local succulents and cactuses, the settlers of the canyon, and the flora and fauna of the biosphere.
