A collection of correspondence and documents of Irish interest from the Stuart Papers. The Stuart Papers are in effect the official correspondence of the court-in-exile of James Francis Edward Stuart, Prince of Wales (1688-1766), generally, but quite inaccurately, known as the pretender. A very small proportion of the papers, however, relate to the reign of James II. Includes a seven-page introduction, a bibliography of sources cited, and at the terminus of Volume II a 32-page index.
