Black-and-white photographs throughout and color maps and the front of each chapter. Includes a list of medals awarded, portraits of all the officers (separate pages for the Battalion, 'S' Sections, Companies A, B & C, and the 'H & S' Company), and a full roster of the officers and enlisted men, noting their rank and last known address.

Original owner was battalion member, Technician fourth grade (T/4) Romeyn Francis Haszler (1918-1996) of Tonica, Illinois.
