The applications considered are the fulguration or desiccation of moles, warts and other skin blemishes, and the treatment of eczema, dandruff, baldness, lice, gray hair, and hair loss.
Noble Murray Eberhart (1870-1939) was a physician, surgeon, teacher, X-ray pioneer, electotherapy researcher, and medical device designer. He had been a former Head of the Department of Physiologic Therapeutics at the Medical Department of Loyola University and a former Head of Department of Electrotherapeutics at the Chicago College of Medicine and Surgery. He had also served as an attending surgeon or physician at the Cook County Hospital, the Chicago Baptist Hospital, and the Frances E. Willard Temperance Hospital.
