Interior is generally clean and, aside from the author's inscription, appears to be unmarked. Extensively illustrated with family photographs. 903 pages

A genealogy of the Loud family in America, traced back to Francis Loud who came from Scotland as early as 1675, and who settled a few years later at Arrowsic island on the coast of Maine. Up to ten generations are traced. The author Clarence Everett ''Larry'' Loud (1927-1995) is the six-times great grandson of Francis. The genealogy is well organized and provides a large amount of biographical material. Name index included.
