Emil Kronke (Danzig, 1865 - Dresden, 1938) was a scholar of Carl Reinecke in Leipzig and of Theodor Kirchner in Dresden, where he settled and remained an active concert pianist and composer until his death. In 1917 the title of royal professor was bestowed upon him.
