Winter Dusk is the second volume of poetry by Mary Reed Joslin (1876-1956). She received her education at Smith College and Radcliffe College and was a lifelong resident of Boston. Her first volume of poetry, Spanish Moss, was published by Emory University's Banner Press in 1939 (14 poems from that volume appear again here). She was an active member of The Poetry Society of America and the National League of American Pen Women. This is a collection of more than sixty poems, some of which previously appeared in the Christian Science Monitor, the Boston Herald, and Blue Moon: A Quarterly of Verse.
