Documenting the onslaught and aftermath of Typhoon Pamela (May 1976), a very powerful storm with winds of 150 mph that struck and devastated the U.S. territory of Guam. Eleven people were killed. At the time it was estimated to have caused 500 million dollars in damage and President Gerald Ford declared Guam to be a major disaster area.
