In these letters Pilate describes the events of his Governorship, his impressions, his policy, and the difficulty he had dealing with the Jews. They portray the times of Jesus and the principal events of his life from the viewpoint of the Roman Governor of Judaea.
Tipped-in notice from the publisher on the ffep stating that these letters are purely fictitious and composed by Crozier for the purpose of presenting a picture of what might reasonably be supposed to have happened in the time of Pontius Pilate. The crediting Crozier as the editor on the title page was an artifice.
